About this item

• MADE FOR CAFE DE OLLA: a set of four barro mugs for cafe de olla, champurrado, atole, hot chocolate and coffee you are in no hurry to finish. Fired clay holds heat, so the last sip lands close to the first.
• PAINTED BY HAND: flowers and feathers brushed onto bare clay one mug at a time, a colored rim and a smooth finished interior. Colors and patterns vary, so the four in your box come as four different mugs, and none of them is a print.
• HECHO A MANO: shaped, painted and fired by hand in Mexico. Height, color and brushwork vary from mug to mug, so a set of four arrives as four cousins and not four copies.
• SIZE AND CARE: 13 oz to the rim, 4 inches tall and 4.75 inches wide at the handle. Food safe, lead free glaze. Microwave safe, hand wash. Clay is fired earth and it chips like earth, so give it a shelf and not a counter edge.
• A SET OF FOUR, NO TWO ALIKE: four hand painted mugs, ready for a housewarming, a Christmas table, or a Mexican kitchen that has enough white cups already. FFX Artesania: empowering artisans, sharing traditions.
