How does EverGreen Helper Work? Gravity. Gravity ensures that the water in your EverGreen Helper and in your tree stand are at the same level. This is a consequence of Pascal's principle, whereby pressure is uniformly transmitted throughout a liquid. In more familiar terms: water seeks its own level. Which size do I need? Trees up to 6 feet are fine with the 4 quart; for larger trees go with 6 quart and very large trees should use the new 12 quart model. Can I wrap mine or put it in a pretty gift bag? We suggest not. In the first few days, your tree will guzzle water. If your EverGreen Helper is wrapped you are less likely to notice when the water level is low. What else can I do with my EverGreen Helper?
