About this item

• OLIVE WOOD NATIVITY SET 3 PIECE RELIEF PANELS: Three separate hand carved olive wood relief panels in graduated sizes. The centerpiece Holy Family panel reaches approximately 3.9 inches tall with two supporting panels showing additional carved nativity scene elements. Each panel stands freestanding on its own flat base, display together as a grouped scene or separately across rooms.
• ADVENT DISPLAY ALTERNATIVE: The three panels can be displayed gradually through Advent, one out the first week, the second added later, the third placed on Christmas Eve. A simple Christian household tradition that turns one nativity set into a season-long ritual without any extra effort. Each panel works equally well on its own as a small standalone piece.
• GENUINE BETHLEHEM OLIVE WOOD: Each panel hand carved by Christian artisan families in Bethlehem from a single piece of olive wood reclaimed from annual pruning of living trees. Combined weight approximately 142 grams across all three panels, tallest panel approximately 3.9 inches by 2.3 inches by 1.0 inch. Polished face, natural grain pattern showing through.
• FREESTANDING SOLID OLIVE WOOD CARVINGS: Each panel has a flat base and sufficient thickness to stand upright on any shelf, mantel, or side table without needing a separate stand. No glue between panels, no hangers, designed to be arranged freely. Solid single-piece carvings, no small parts to lose.
• MEANINGFUL CHRISTIAN GIFT FROM BETHLEHEM: A thoughtful set for a Christian family that displays a nativity every Advent and wants something with real Bethlehem provenance. Also splits naturally as three smaller gifts for three siblings or three godparents. Suitable for parish religious education classroom, parish vestibule display, or a household with multiple nativities in rotation.

This 3-piece olive wood nativity set is hand carved in Bethlehem as three separate relief panels from solid olive wood. The centerpiece Holy Family panel reaches approximately 3.9 inches tall with two supporting panels showing additional carved scene elements. Combined weight is about 142 grams across all three pieces. Each panel is carved from a single block by Christian artisan families in Bethlehem using olive wood reclaimed from annual pruning of living trees, never from cutting trees down. The 3-panel format borrows from icon-making traditions, the carver adapted it to flat relief on olive wood instead of painted gesso boards. Each panel has a flat base and sufficient depth to stand freestanding on any shelf, mantel, or side table without needing a separate stand. There is no joinery between panels, no glue, no hangers, no small parts to lose. The panels can be displayed grouped together as one staged scene or placed separately across rooms. Many customers spread them across an Advent display gradually, one out the first week, the second added later, the third on Christmas Eve, which turns this olive wood nativity set into a season-long household ritual. The holy family nativity scene is the consistent thread across all three panels. The set ships as three pieces together at one combined price. A thoughtful Christian gift for a family that displays a nativity every Advent and wants something with real Bethlehem provenance, or for someone who already owns a centerpiece nativity and wants smaller supporting pieces. The 3-panel structure also splits naturally as three smaller gifts to three siblings, three godparents, or three close friends, each piece ships unmarked so you can divide them however you like. Indoor display only. Olive wood needs almost no maintenance, a single drop of food grade olive oil with a soft cloth refreshes it after years if it ever looks dry.
