Its dual-gradient design packs the fibers more tightly from the outer surface toward the core, raising effective filter depth to a full 233% and delivering up to three times the dirt-holding capacity of similar-size cartridges, with a low pressure drop under 1 psi at 20 gpm.
Measuring 20" x 4.5", it fits all 20-inch Big Blue and other heavy-duty housings and replaces any 20" x 4.5" sediment cartridge. It carries a nominal 5 micron rating, handles temperatures to 145°F, and is tested and certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements. Replace about every 6 months, or sooner when you notice reduced flow or water quality.
